My Brewing Thoughts
My love for Irish heritage flows right into my homebrews. I take real pride in nailing those classic styles, like stouts and porters, using the old-fashioned methods my grandfather taught me. Vermont, though, that's where I call home, and it leaves its mark too. Local stuff like maple syrup and fresh berries, they always seem to find their way into my beers, blending a bit of the Green Mountain State with my Irish roots. It's not just about flavors though, I like to experiment! Working at the local brewery taught me a lot about different styles, and I'm not afraid to try new techniques or toss in some unexpected ingredients in my home batches.
But brewing for me, it's about more than just the perfect pint. It's a way to connect with where I come from and build a community around it. You'll always find me at the local homebrew clubs, sharing my latest concoction or offering advice to anyone just starting out. Sharing the joy of brewing, that's a big part of it for me.
In the end, it's all about quality and having a good time. I use top-notch ingredients and take my time to make sure my beers are well-crafted. Whether it's a classic Irish brew or something uniquely Vermont-inspired, I want to create beers that are interesting, delicious, and perfect for raising a glass with good company.
